Dark and Compelling. - Quentin Bates Four murders in four different locations, four strange marks on the victims - and the only thing they have in common is that all of the victims were all born in the little spa town of Voineasa in the Romanian sub-Carpathian region.The fast-paced narrative switches between the streets of Bucharest and the wooded hills of Voineasa. The novel cleverly blends well-worn serial killer tropes with an inside look at a secretive team of state-supported asassins.
